There was an interesting article in today’s Minneapolis Star Tribune. The headline is

No helmets or seat belts? Baby boomers lived dangerously by today’s standards

and the opening line is “By today’s safety standards, every baby boomer should have been dead by the time we were 12.” For those of us that lived through that era, the article is all too true and makes one question some of the actions today.
